Latest Figures Reveal Car Scrappage Scheme Has Been A Success

The large vehicle salvage specialist, is one of the authorised treatment facilities dealing with the scrapping of cars brought in under the government's scrappage scheme and now accounts for all most half of the cars currently being dismantled by the centre. Official figures released this week show that since it was intruduced in May almost 155,000 new cars have been ordered through the scheme, where motorists are offered 2000 GBP discount on new cars when they trade in a car that is 10 years or older.
