Under-fire France rugby coach Marc Lievremont received much needed support on Wednesday from French Rugby President Pierre Camou.
Camou said there was no danger of Lievremont nor his assistants, backs coach Emile Ntamack nor scrum coach Didier Retiere being removed from their posts despite another disappointing Six Nations campaign which has seen them lose to Ireland and then a humiliating 34-10 defeat to England last Sunday.
"It is not my habit to change my opinion very easily," said Camou, who replaced now IRB president Bernard Lapasset last year.
"Media criticism over the line we are taking building towards the 2011 World Cup does not interest me.
"I do not change my opinion because of one victory, like I said after beating Wales, nor after a defeat.
"There is just one target that interests me, the rest does not worry me."
France cannot win the title after being beaten by England, and round off their campaign against strugglers Italy in Rome this Saturday.
