France's Marconnet out of Wales contention

<div><p>France prop Sylvain Marconnet was on Friday ruled out of the Six Nations match against Wales in Cardiff next weekend.</p><p>The identity of the veteran international's replacement will be announced on Sunday after this weekend's French Top 14 programme, a French team source revealed.</p><p>Marconnet came off the bench early in the second half in last Saturday's 33-10 win over Ireland in Paris but had to be replaced seven minutes from time after picking up a right leg injury.</p><p>Team-mate Vincent Clerc, who emerged from the win against Ireland with a left ankle problem, will be put through his paces to determine his readiness for Cardiff early next week.</p><p>The Toulouse wing is receiving treatment at the French team's training headquarters in Marcoussis.</p><p>The France squad for Wales will be officially announced on Monday morning.</p><p>France and England, with two wins apiece, are leading the Six Nations table.</p><img src="http://admatch-syndication.mochila.com/images/ad.gif?aid=69730721&bid=informcom" /></div><div id="copyright"><div>
